We are delighted to serve you when you come to worship with us. However, if you want to get involved in the life and ministry of Tabernacle we have many areas of service that we would be delighted to have you join. The following are just a small sample of ways you can serve with us:

Volunteer FAQ

How do I volunteer?

Simply reach out to Pastor Tim or the Church Office and they will direct you to the person in charge of the area you are interested in. Please note that some ministries require additional background checks and church membership in order to be permitted to serve in that area (this is to protect you as well as the most vulnerable of our Tabernacle family).

How do I volunteer with kids?

Our children are some of the most vulnerable congregants at Tabernacle and therefore we endeavor to be as diligent as possible in protecting each one as well as our leaders. In order to serve our children, you will be required to undertake our Child Protection Program and have background checks. Contact our Children's or Youth Directors to get started!

How do I volunteer with music?

Our music director, Paul Greer III, is delighted to have enthusiastic, talented, and servant-hearted praise leaders assist in our congregation in corporate worship. If you want to participate in either of our Sunday services, please contact Paul or Pastor Tim to find an opportunity to serve.

How do I volunteer with hospitable ministries?

At Tabernacle we are blessed to have many opportunities to serve one another with hospitality. Reach out to Pastor Tim, the Church Office, or the chairperson of the Hostess Committee for information on who you should contact to get started in the ministry of your choice.
