Pastor Tim and his wife, Yesenia, came to Tabernacle in May, 2023 with a vision of discipling our church to develop a deeper love for Jesus with the hope of reaching our community with the Gospel. He has a doctorate in Divinity from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland, and a Master of Divinity from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Louisville, KY. He enjoys soccer, table tennis, and badminton, when feeling energetic, but is equally satisfied on the couch with a good book or TV show. Yesenia is a Nurse Practitioner. Together they have one baby boy, Arthur Julius, and two dogs.
Tim is the author of numerous books with more in the pipeline. You can check out his Biblical Theology "Take and Eat": From Fall To Feast, his Gospel Primer Because of Jesus and his upcoming book The Fatherhood of the Father by reaching out to the church for a copy or going to any bookstore. He is working on a book on the Reformation(s) and their legacy that will be published in 2029. Tim and Yesenia also have a family band, Celtic Ceys, that has just released their first album: Echoes of Eden.
